FINAL PITCHING TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Eligibility

Only finalists officially shortlisted by the Organising Committee are eligible to participate in the Online Final Pitching Session.

Each finalist is responsible for joining the online meeting at least ten (10) minutes before the scheduled presentation time. Participants who fail to join within five (5) minutes after their scheduled presentation time without prior notice may be considered absent and may forfeit their opportunity to present.

Each team shall appoint one (1) representative as the primary presenter. Other registered team members may join the online session.
2. Presentation Duration
Each finalist will be allocated a maximum of twenty (20) minutes, comprising:
• Five (5) minutes for transition, preparation and technical settings.
• Ten (10) minutes for project presentation and demonstration.
• Five (5) minutes for the Question and Answer (Q&A) session with the judging panel.
The organiser reserves the right to conclude the presentation once the allocated time has elapsed. Participants are advised to manage their presentation time effectively. Exceeding the allocated time may affect the overall evaluation.
3. Presentation Requirements
Finalists shall prepare and present the following materials during the online pitching session:
• Presentation Slides – A presentation deck prepared in accordance with the official submission requirements.
• Project Demonstration – Participants shall demonstrate the completed project using the appropriate format according to their respective competition categories. Examples include Hybrid Animation (final animation output and production highlights), VisionAI Challenge (final AI creative video and AI workflow demonstration), and AR/VR Immersive Experience (live demonstration or recorded walkthrough of the immersive experience).
• Project Explanation Video – The previously submitted project explanation video, which explains the project's concept, production workflow, innovation, and key outcomes.
• Final Project Output – The final project previously submitted, to be presented and demonstrated during the pitching session.
• Exhibition Poster – The official digital poster submitted according to the competition requirements, to be displayed and briefly presented.
All presentation materials must be consistent with the documents and files submitted during the official submission stage.
4. Presentation Content
The presentation should clearly address the following aspects:
• Project background and problem statement.
• Objectives and significance of the project.
• Innovation and originality.
• Technical methodology and production workflow.
• Technologies, software and tools utilised.
• Integration of heritage within the project.
• Results, outcomes and project demonstration.
• Potential impact, commercialisation opportunities, and future development.
5. Online Platform & Technical Requirements
The organiser will conduct the Final Pitching Session via Microsoft Teams. Finalists are responsible for ensuring that they have:
• A stable internet connection.
• A computer or laptop with a functioning webcam and microphone.
• Screen-sharing capability.
• Presentation materials ready before the session.
Participants are strongly encouraged to test their equipment and internet connection before the scheduled presentation. The organiser shall not be responsible for technical issues arising from participants' personal internet connection, hardware or software. Participants are encouraged to prepare backup devices and alternative internet access where possible.
During the presentation, finalists shall:
• Dress in appropriate professional attire.
• Keep their webcam turned on throughout the pitching session unless otherwise instructed.
• Share their screen when presenting slides, videos, or demonstrations.
• Ensure that audio and visual quality are clear and suitable for evaluation.
• Respond professionally to questions from the judging panel.
6. Judging
The Final Pitching Session will be evaluated by an independent panel comprising representatives from academia, industry, and the technology sector. Evaluation shall be conducted based on the official judging rubric published by the organiser. The decision of the judging panel shall be final, binding and not subject to appeal.
7. Professional Conduct
Participants shall maintain professional conduct throughout the Final Pitching Session. Presentations must not contain offensive, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful content. Participants are expected to demonstrate integrity, professionalism and respect towards the judging panel, fellow participants and organisers.
8. Recording & Intellectual Property
The organiser reserves the right to record the online pitching session for documentation, educational, promotional and reporting purposes. Participants retain full ownership of their intellectual property. By participating in the competition, finalists grant the organiser the right to use screenshots, presentation recordings, project images, and promotional materials for non-commercial purposes with appropriate acknowledgement.
9. Announcement of Results
The results of the Final Pitching Session, including the list of award recipients and final nominees, shall be officially announced through the Anifest.Edu@Johor: i-MAX Challenge Official Website and other official communication platforms of the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to publish photographs, project information, winners' profiles and highlights from the Final Pitching Session for promotional and documentation purposes.
10. Acceptance
Participation in the Final Pitching Session constitutes acceptance of all Terms and Conditions set forth by the organiser. Finalists are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these requirements.
